(I tried to post this earlier but I don't see my posting)
2) How do you tell how tight the belt should be,
and how do you eyeball it?
I used the brass torsion tool from my toolkit
and put it in the center of the range. It still
made the noise. I put it at the loose end of the
range and it made the noise less. Then I took a
few turns on the right wheel adjuster to bias
the rear wheel to the left.
3) what gasket? The gasket around the instrument
cluster looks OK (it's all there and not
oxidized). Do I need to pull the tank to tighten
a mounting bracket? Is there another gasket?
Is there any reason why I shouldn't just buy
one from my local dealer?
Thanks
Mike
